Soha többet nem megyünk máshova forró csokiért vagy édességért, csak ide. :) Életünkben nem ittunk még ilyen finomat, a tejszínhab rajta nem túl édes, nem túl tömény, az ízesítések is kiválóak a minőségi csokoládéval összekeverve. Süteményeket is kóstoltunk, egyszerűen szavak sincsenek rá, annyira jó az ízük. Ha tudnám, világgá kürtölném az összes forró csokinak csúfolt löttyöt áruló helynek, hogy ez legyen a követendő példa. Igaz, nem a legolcsóbb, de már az első kortynál / falatnál érzi az ember, hogy ez valami teljesen más élmény lesz. A kiszolgálás kifogástalan, a hölgy mosolygós és segítőkész. Bízom benne, hogy még sokáig járhatunk oda, és hogy nem rontják el a receptet, illetve hogy talán egy nap fehér csokoládéból is lesz nagyobb kínálat vagy épp forró csoki. :)

The most delicious Hungarian chocolate. I bought szaloncukor here, which is a typical Hungarian dessert around Christmas, and these are the most delicious ones! There are more than 40 types of szaloncukor, with different types of fillings. They are not cheap, but I love them!

There are several locations in Budapest and other parts of Hungary to find Stühmer chocolates. They are expertly made and absolutely divine. Smooth, crisp chocolate, delightfully flavorful interiors. Not every location will have it, but if you can find sour cherry, it will quickly move to the top of your favorites list. Szaloncukor, the traditional candies hung on the tree at Christmas time, make a great gift to take back home, even if it isn't the holiday season. Your family and friends will be ever so grateful.

Stuhmer is one of the remaining local brands so this is a good place to pick up chocolate gifts etc some of which are Budapest themed. The cafe it’s self is also very comfortable, selling their well-known cakes but also teas coffees and flavoured hot chocolates, all of which are served on little silver trays with biscuits and water. Very civilised, even if not in a very tourist location. Atmosphere is clean and simple.

I tried the Christmas chocolates called szaloncukor from a few different sources. Stühmer’s were the best. The chocolates come in a variety of flavors. Stühmer’s has several branches in Budapest and around Hungary. I visited the branch in Budapest on Pozsonyi út.

A nice looking place with great quality products and not so high prices. Also possible to buy nice chocolate-based presents.

It is rare that you find a shop where you can drink REAL hot chocolat .. well this is one of the very few ... The chocolat is added with nice flavors in. Also the (chocolat) pies are outstanding quality. The Corfu was my favorit. Really worth to visit! Easy to find it, Very near to Hotel Gellert.

This is café and shop was just opened recently, just about 300 metres from Gellert Bath. The variety of cakes and chocolates were amazing and the service was very kind! :-)
