A hely első ránézésre leginkább a retro éttermek hangulatát idézi,amit viszont meglepően jól feldob az ételek modernsége és a tálalás remek stílusa. Bár bennem valahogy végig maradt egy kis hiányérzet, - aminek a pontos okát nem tudnám megmondani - jó szívvel ajánlom mindenkinek, egy nyugodt péntek esti vacsorára.

Kedves pincérek, nagyszerű ételek. 4 étkezésből 4 rendben volt. Lazac kitűnő, mézes burgonyás töltött csirkemell fantasztikus, a többiről nem is beszélve :) Ajánlom mindenkinek !!!

Azt már nem tudom mit ettem a halászlén kívül, de nagyon ízlett. Gusztusos tálalás, kulturált kiszolgálás. Kellemes hely. A parkolás kocsival nem túl egyszerű a környéken.....

Gulyash is fine. Other menu not tested (except handmade fresh - is good). Not many people, good interior.

I have a dinner at the Menta Terasz as a member of the group. By that I would like to say that I can eat only food on the menu (a buffet). Be short - from a very good mushroom soup, all the food was delicious. We have been in a place looking like a tent with a very warm and friendly atmosphere.

We were staying in an apartment nearby. It seems that this place "impresses" differently, probably that depends on the daytime. Our experience was quite good, we were on terrace the whole evening. Stayed up to the closure, they twice asked us to leave, but were polite. The food was ok, mostly I liked the fish soup (the one with paprika), though goulash could have been better.

Been here today, just to try something new in Budapest. I normally try more fine dining but i was looking for something simple. The restaurant was quite empty on sunday evening, but personell was friendly and helpful (i did not recognize what other people wrote here about personell). The food was not top class, but perfectly what i was looking for. Simple, but definitely fair quality compared to price. I started with beef tartar which was nice as they served it with egg yellow which is the right way to do it. The taste was fine. Only i would have used some more fresh cut union. Then i took Gulash soup. The soup was well filled. Taste was fine for a soup, only i like it more spicy. Then the maindish for which i chose the beef stew in red wine. It was a bit fatty and salty, but not too bad. The fries i ordered with it were well baked (definitely better then in most hungarian places). So overall it was satisfying, as said, dont go here for fine dining, but for a normal dinner, lunch or evening it is a fine place. With the terras and upstairs area the place is big and comfortable enough. Overall satisfied for the purpose i was lookinhmg for.

Visited on off chance when walking the city. This is off the normal tourist route. We had a very good lunch and service. The restaurant was not busy but staff took time to explain and translate the menu. Tasty freshly cooked food enjoyed by all

Perhaps the terrible waiter that other reviewers were talking about was already fired by the time we tried this restaurant. We went for an early, early dinner on Sunday and expected the place to be quiet which it was. The lady who was at the bar seated us and later took our orders. When we asked for recommendations, she gladly told us her favorites in the menu which we opted for. When the food came, I was pleasantly surprised at the amount of food served and how good it actually was. While both dishes were actually savory, one pork dish which, if I remember correctly, was a honey-citrus pork of some kind, was very tender and flavorful. It might also be worth mentioning that dinner with drinks cost just anywhere between $10-15. It is late fall and beginning of winter so the terrace was obviously closed. But we would go back there despite other people's bad reviews. Perhaps the restaurant has revamped their entire service philosophy which included hiring better staff.

Try marinated pork in honey, chili and mustard. It was very good, but the service is little bit slow.
