I have been here a couple of times on my own . The staff are always very friendly and helpful. The cakes are tasty and the tea was good despite being in a tea bag. Later I brought some friends here and we had a very good lunch. The waiter was particularly patient towards one of my friend's odd requests. Budapest is full of nice cafes but this one is worth a visit.

came here for wine and dessert. we originally wanted to go to Spinoza café, but they were all booked and no availability until 9:45pm. They suggested Concerto Café, and we were so glad that they did b/c it was lovely. we ordered the traditional Jewish desserts and a Hungarian white wine. the pianist was so friendly and entertaining. he really made the experience what it was. the location is small, only about 5 tables, some seat 4, some 3, others 2 people...comfortable and cozy. attention was good- not hovering or rushed, and not neglectful. prices were fair. I cannot vouch for their meals, but we thoroughly enjoyed the sweets and service and ambiance. I believe they had a breakfast special or menu at a really good price- had it not been our last night in Budapest I probably would have wanted to try out their breakfast deal.
I recommend this café and would like to return if I am ever back in lovely Budapest.

Close to orthodox synagogue offering quality baking. Bowl of muesli full of goodness and enough to keep you going all day

Many cakes and they all looked very delicious. And the lemon cake and chocolate cakes were very good.
The coffee was thin.

Cosy but nothing more than average. The coffee was from s machine. Tastefull cakes. Friendly staff. The place smelled too much of food cooking from the open kitchen.

The waiters were all very friendly. The menu is not very authentic: jewish stew, quiche, quesadilla, goulash, a bit of everything. The cakes however are really good. What is not so nice is the hidden charges when you get the bill.

This is a small traditional cafe with great service from staff who are very friendly and helpful.
There is an extensive choice of both cakes and strudel. Coffee is good as is long cold lemonade.
We had goulash soup and poppy seed strudel. Both were excellent and just what we wanted after a long morning sight seeing in and around Erzsebetvaros.
I recommend that you visit and soak up the great atmospher.

Visited this lovely cafe this morning as it's linked to Spinoza, a restaurant we like. We had a delicious breakfast that was very reasonably priced. The staff were very friendly and the cafe is definitely worth a visit.
