Must see place ! The most beautiful café I've ever seen

We took a coffee and a fruit juice in this stunningly beautiful place, with artwork all over, including the ceiling.
The service is good and the drinks were very good.
A place we recommend for its architecture and for relaxing with food and/or drinks while visiting Budapest.

Me and my friend where here to have Hungarian lunch. One promoter guy on the street accompaigned us to the restaurant and from the beginning everyone was really kind. Everything was really good, food and also the hosting service. We reccomend it!
Grazie mille!

Beautiful renaissance style building, with interesting history....but so is all of Budapest. Its a grande cafe with an art deco interior. The cakes and coffee are just as lovely too.

As this cafe has the reputation of being quite grand, we decided to give it a try. While on our walking travels we have passed it a few times without realising it, the once fabulously grand entrance is now a uninspiring dark and quite frankly an uninteresting and uninviting place that you would literally pass by without giving it a second look. The escalator took us up, and nearing the top you could see the most fabulous and ornate room, it must be 5 or 6 meters high with huge mirrors either end and the most wonderfully painted artwork covering the whole ceiling. The selection of coffees are good together with a reasonable selection of light snacks all complemented with live piano music being played in the background.

This is an unlikely find in a renovated building. Step off the escalator into an elegant ballroom setting. Your eyes will immediately focus on the amazing painted ceiling, but scan to the luxurious seating and invite yourself for coffee or pastry. If the timing is right, the piano player will treat you to some wonderful music perfect for relaxing and enjoying light conversation with friends. The coffee was good; however, we did not partake of the beautiful pastries. Just lovely!

This cafe is just so glitzy it is meant for royalty. The decor was just wow! See the shot. The treats were high quality too.
The waiter was really helpful and nice with no snobbery what so ever. When I gave him a tip he returned it as he said the tip is in the bill( quite French!😀)
The prices are quite reasonable and not high like we expected

had this cafe recommend by Bob a chap we met in the skybar who has an apartment in Budepest. We came through the doors on Andrassy and on the escalator to a room that was a wow in our eyes. We were greeted and seated and chose our cake. When it came we both dug it to these sweets that were stunning.
This certainly is a hidden gem and not to be missed when in Budapest.!!!!!

The place is really nice, a pure gem in the middle of the city. Staff is extremely friendly.
Cake is delicious! Hot chocolate one of the best we ever had. Iced coffee was good too.
We highly recommend this place to anybody in Budapest

Cafe Paris
Headed for here as we walked back from Szech baths as recommended by a travel blogger. I was very casually dressed but so were many others. It is a lovely place. Wierd to get in to off street and up an elevator but worth it. We found the prices very reasonable. 900 ft for a delicious square of creme cheese lemon pie thing. £2.50 ish. G and T also cheaper than UK. Staff were attentive and courteous. It has an amazing painted ceiling. Perhaps the staff could be more knowledgeable on its history? A lovely place to pause and eat cake (other items available on menu!). Would recommend. Lovely.

Every time I have visited Budapest, the Cafe Parisi has been high on my list of ‘musts’. Today it was at it’s glorious best, stunning venue as always, incredibly helpful staff, lovely drinks (strawberry lemonade was superb), and beautifully presented and very tasty cakes.
From tables and chairs to the comfy sofas the cafe encourages you to take time out and enjoy the experience at leisure.
Five stars does not do it justice.

Hidden up an escalator in what appears to be a building under renovation, you will marvel at the beauty of the ceiling frescoes in this lovely coffee house. The menu is limited to cold drinks, coffees and teas plus a variety of delicious cakes and a few types of sandwiches. The afternoon pianist is a bonus. Prices are good. Delightful place.

Best place if you want to experience Budapest's authentic interiors! Live piano music and good selection of cakes and drinks.

This place is a cosy haven in the hectic Andrassy Avenue. Ideal to have a snack or some coffee as you relax and listen the soft music from the piano. Not being an exceptional place although, it has an opulent decor and a cosy atmosphere. In case you´re a Spaniard keep in mind that some beverages as lemonades or similar aren´t prepared just as in Spain, although the name be the same. I was taken aback a bit reading that the establishment had been closed some time ago and noticing there weren´t recent reviews. Well, no reason to worry: I was there a few days ago and it was open to the public and working normally.

This place is beautiful, worth to visit and try a cake or drink a coffee. Unfortunately we try dobos cake and was so hard and dry... but the interior was compensate us. Also try lotz cake and was fantastic. The cakes cost 800-1100 Ft on June 2019 and I think these are reasonable prices. When we go away a pianist start play at the piano.

The cafe is beautiful - relaxing atmosphere, had live piano music. Tasty desserts and a nice tea selection. Only had one person serving about 15 tables - service needs improvement. Price was reasonable.
